ACSC Year 7 Castle Competition 2024!

The standard of entry was phenomenally high and the history teachers had the very difficult task of judging the class winners. After careful deliberation the department was pleased to announce that the following students had achieved first place in each of their classes: Nathan G, Kyle K, Ethan D, Faith M, Carly M, Lacie S, Courtney S, Adam I and Lucy K.

We then had the difficult task of deciding the overall winner. For the first time in the history of the competition we felt we just had to award two overall runner up prizes for the superb quality of their Motte and Bailey castle designs: Nathan G and Kyle K. Well done to you both! That then left the overall champion of ACSC Year 7 Castle Competition 2024. We unanimously decided that this year the title would go to ……… Adam K for his amazing model of the 13th Century Talmbeck Castle situated in Central Bohemia in the Czech Republic – Congratulations Adam!
