Finney House
Sir Tom Finney
- Born in Deepdale, Preston in 1922
- English Footballer who played from 1946-1960 as an outside left for Preston North End and England.
- He is widely acknowledged to have been one of the greatest sports players EVER!
- Played for England 76 times (won 51 matches) and scored 30 goals in an England career which lasted for 13 years.
- He was noted for his loyalty to Preston and made 569 first team appearances.
- Sadly died in 2014, however his legacy lives on.
