NHS Careers - ROYAL PRESTON HOSPITAL

Last week a few of our year 8 students had the chance to visit Royal Preston Hospital to explore the range of careers available to them including: midwifery, optometry, surgery, physiotherapy and radiography.

These year 8 students successfully applied for the trip, explaining their reasons for the trip being beneficial for their future career plans.

Students had the chance to practice their CPR skills, experience the VR machines used for diagnostics, alongside speaking to a range of different employees in the NHS.

Year 8 had a great afternoon and left feeling inspired about their future careers in healthcare.
