SLCN Unit at the Creative Space Centre

The students from year 8 and 9 who are members of the SLCN unit enjoyed time at the Creative Space Centre on 3rd June. We had a space themed session and enjoyed relaxing space music and images of stars and supernovas. The pupils enjoyed the ball bit, hammock chair, giant slide and massage chair.

As we had a space theme, we also got a star parachute to use. Many of the students enjoyed lying on the floor as Mrs Bennion, Mrs Efthymiadi and Mrs Ashcroft brought the parachute up and down. It was a warm day so the breeze from the parachute was lovely. The pupils were excellently behaved and enjoyed walking to and from the venue, meaning more than 10,000 steps before break!
