Year 8 go to Teen Tech Festival!

Year 8 had a great time last week at the Teen Tech Festival at UCLAN! They joined other schools for the day; having their say in what the future of the technology world would look like and getting involved in lots of fun activities. In the morning the group worked on their own tech ideas, where a safety watch for people who are blind and deaf was invented by our group! In the afternoon they had the exciting chance to network with big businesses in tech such as Oracle, AWS and the Royal Air Force. Students finished the day completing impressive work and team-building exercises in Oracle's code breaking task. An inspiring day!
